Indirect Bonding

In most cases in our clinic, we bond the brackets on the teeth using the indirect bonding method. The indirect bonding method is the best choice when it comes to precision in the positioning of the brackets on the patients’ teeth.

The casts are being prepared and the ideal position is being marked on the dental casts.

The braces are being bonded on the dental cast, without having to overcome the conditions of the bonding in the mouth cavity like head movement of the patient, saliva production, restricted mouth opening etc.

When the bonding is completed, a soft material is being applied over the teeth and the brackets.

The brackets can be transfered on the exact same position of the teeth, like on the cast.

The advantages for the patient are many. Some of them are the chair time of the bonding appointment, which lasts almost half of the time compared to the traditional bonding technique, the comfort during the bonding of the braces, the precision of the positioning and therefore the entire treatment duration.
